No really, THANK YOU.
I’ll come out and say it – one year ago, things weren’t so peachy. I felt stuck, fenced in, cornered. I hated my alarm clock. I dreaded my to-do lists. But ever since I entered the ranks of the self-employed, important things have changed. Yes I’m usually scared spitless, but I get to spend time doing what I love with no one looking over my shoulder. I’m still working 12-16 hour days, but I love every blessed second. And you, right there, reading this blog? You’re making this possible for me.
I feel so lucky to spend time writing. Sending things out into the world. Grabbing my camera and connecting with people. And I feel even MORE lucky that you guys take time out of your day to send me emails or comments, ask questions, or just tell me who you are and what we have in common.
I freaking love it. It’s awesome.
Whatever you’re doing or celebrating this weekend, I hope that it is beautiful. I hope you know that the world holds enough success for all of us. And I hope you hit the pause button and just enjoy where you are – and if you’re not enjoying where you are, I hope you’ll focus on the vision of where you want to be. Because as Ayn Rand wrote –
It is real. It is possible. It is yours.
